While not permanent, veneers are exceedingly durable, made from very thin pieces of custom made tooth shaped porcelain, and bonded to the teeth. The goal: creating a beautiful and attractive smile.

Veneers are typically used cosmetically to repair crooked, discolored, stained, or misshapen teeth, as well as those that are too small, too large, uneven, or worn.

The veneer process usually requires approximately two visits including burring and shaping of tooth surface to allow veneer placement.

A mold or impression of a patient’s teeth is made, and a color shade appropriate to match other teeth will be chosen by both you and your dentist. Next, your teeth will be cleansed to create a durable surface for bonding. Bonding cement allows the veneer to set durably.
